Dr. McBride was recently selected to speak amongst her peers at the Maine Chiropractic Association 2015 Spring Convention, in Rockland Maine.  Topics covered by Dr. McBride were Non-Invasive Approaches to Chronic Low Back Pain, and effectiveness working in conjunction with the medical community and physical therapy.  This discussion was a collaborative approach across fields.  Chiropractic care has been shown to be a very effective treatment method for pre and post-surgical candidates.  Through gentle mobilization techniques, pain from nerve and disc irritation can be drastically reduced.

Included in the discussion was an interdisciplinary team of doctors from Mercy hospital including spine surgeons, pain management, physiatrists, physical therapy and chiropractic providers who each discussed their approach to spine treatment and important aspects of patient care.
