Joint Pain

Any joint in our body is able to cause pain.  Although the joints in the neck and low back are the most common causes of pain, the joints in the hand, foot or any in between can become painful.  Joints are between bones and allow them to move in a certain pattern.  As a joint starts to move improperly its structures can no longer withstand a normal level of strain.  This causes the cartilage between joints to break down, and the muscles that attach to the joints to become tight and painful.  Chiropractors fix joints by correcting their biomechanics through adjusting, and stretching or strengthening the muscles surrounding the joint.  Restoration of joint mechanics allows for a reduction in pain, and prevents any further damage.
